TY TABOR (KING’S X) & WALLY FARKAS (GALACTIC COWBOYS) COLLABORATE ON NEW, INSTRUMENTAL GUITAR CD

MOLKEN MUSIC is proud to release “2.0: Electrolux,” the new, instrumental electric guitar collaboration between King’s X guitarist TY TABOR and former Galactic Cowboys guitarist Wally Farkas, under the XENUPHOBE moniker. Tabor and Farkas describe the music as both “psychoactive” and “ambient.”

“2.0: Electrolux” is Xenuphobe’s sophomore release. (Their first project, “1.0,” released last year, is also available exclusively through Molken Music as an MP3-download-only title.)  Molken Music’s website calls Xenuphobe’s new release an “all-instrumental album features a veritable treasure chest of guitar tones to satisfy your soul” and states that Tabor and Farkas “unleash the power, the fury, and the beauty of the electric guitar.” “Electrolux” also features a guest appearance by guitarist Eddie Hash.

This near-hour long journey is available both as a limited edition CD release as well as MP3 download, exclusively at Molken Music’s website, www.molkenmusic.com.

2007 has been a busy year for both Ty Tabor and Wally Farkas. In addition to the Xenuphobe project, Tabor recorded a new album with KING’S X, titled “Go Tell Somebody,” to be released worldwide early next year on Inside Out Music. Farkas just completed guitar tracks and co-production work for dUg Pinnick’s new solo album, “Strum Sum Up,” available later this year on Magna Carta Records.

Xenuphobe’s “2.0: Electrolux” marks the fourth new release for Molken Music, following the much heralded live King’s X two-disc set, “Live & Live Some More: Dallas ‘94” (available both on CD and MP3 download at www.molkenmusic.com) and will be followed by the first-ever live King’s X DVD, to be released later this year.
