Ignition is a major improvement over any buffer amp you've ever heard.  Most buffers will sound brash if placed before first in your signal chain.  This one won't.  Ignition can make a big improvement in your midrange and high mid frequencies, preserving them completely.  When Ignition is engaged, you'll be hearing the full frequency response of your instrument for the first time because, with ToneFRĒQ Acoustic, you'll be properly driving your instrument cable right from the source.

Dial in the perfect amount of gain  

ToneFRĒQ Acoustic also comes equipped with Throttle - a completely variable 18 dB gain boost that really comes in handy. Turn it down all the way to completely defeat it. Turn it up to boost a low output instrument signal or to take that lead you actually want people to hear.  Throttle can be used to make your amplifier overdrive at lower volumes, producing amazing sweet spot tones.  ToneFRĒQ Acoustic’s mission is to provide your amp, modeler or effects with the best possible signal from your instrument. Fuel Supply

While ToneFRĒQ Acoustic has an incredibly long 250+ hour battery life, there’s nothing worse than having a battery die on you during a gig. With ToneFRĒQ Acoustic there are NO worries.  ToneFRĒQ Acoustic uses a single, standard 9-volt battery.  When your battery needs to be changed, the ToneFRĒQ Acoustic  light will dim to let you know that it is time to replace it. ToneFRĒQ also has a built-in power reserve that allows it to fully function for a few hours after the light goes out.  As long as the light is on prior to starting a gig, you'll be able to finish the show with the reserve power.  Your live performance or studio session continues uninterrupted. Now that’s no hassle!

ToneFRĒQ Acoustic enclosure is lightweight yet durable with high quality metal connectors and mounting points. 2 straps (designed from materials that will prevent damage to your prized instrument) securely fasten ToneFRĒQ to your strap.

ToneFRĒQ Acoustic


ToneFRĒQ Acoustic™ freatres an ultra high input impedance optimized for piezo type pickups found in acoustic guitars, double basses, cellos, violins, and many other acoustic instruments.  Works great with conventional pickups too.

 

This product is unique in that it is designed to be mounted or worn as close as possible to the instrument pickups thereby retaining as much of the tone as possible without signal quality losses normally caused by long cables and their inherent capacitance and susceptibility to electrical noise and interference such as stage lighting noise and AC power line hum.  Converts the low level, high impedance output of your pickups up to a healthy line level, low impedance signal that is far more versatile and robust.  Includes built-in Velcro mounting straps to easily mount to strap, belt or flange.

 

Allows you to increase the output (gain) of the pickup for maximum signal to noise ratio and super flat and clean transparent response.  In addition to standard instrument amplifiers, it works great as a DI for line level inputs like rack compressors, mixing boards and DAW interfaces.  Incredibly long battery life (250+ hours) from one 9V battery.
