Tune Your Pickups    

Now you can adjust the peak resonant frequency of your pickups.  It’s like a semi-parametric EQ that has been voiced specifically for guitar.  There are 6 different positions (5 plus true bypass for your native guitar sound).    You can think of it like a tone knob that will warm your tone without losing the definition of your signal.  Each of the settings will sound different with every type of guitar and even every pickup/combination.  While there are 6 positions each with a color coded setting, turning the buffer amp on/off will yield different sounding results.  So you really have 12 different tonal possibilities.  Turn the Pickup Tuning knob to dial in varying degrees of tonal nirvana. While you will likely find your favorite Pickup Tuning setting(s) for each guitar you own, other settings will give you sonic variance in your guitar that would not have been previously possible without using different pickups or a different instrument entirely. 

Ever notice how some guitars cut through certain mixes better than others? Switching through the various Pickup Tuning settings will probably find that elusive sound for your mix. With ToneFRĒQ there are NO worries.  ToneFRĒQ uses a single, standard 9-volt battery.  When your battery needs to be changed, the ToneFRĒQ settings will dim to let you know that it is time to replace it. ToneFRĒQ also has a built-in power reserve that allows it to fully function for a few hours after the settings go out.  As long as the ToneFRĒQ settings are on prior to starting a gig, you'll be able to finish the show with the reserve power.  Your live performance or studio session continues uninterrupted.
